The Charter Program

Scale agent work in one product area without scaling senior review.

Most teams hit the same ceiling: agent output rises, and senior attention rises with it. Igni connects the decisions and constraints your team owns to the code and agents they affect. Coding agents keep moving. Senior attention goes to consequential calls, not the stream.

The Charter Program is a paid eight-week live deployment in one product area, using the coding agents your team already has. Eight weeks is the measurement window, not the setup: the first working session produces an initial graph from your actual codebase. Then we measure one thing on real work: can your team safely hand agents more without adding the same senior attention?

You work directly each week with Igni founder Ben Werther, who previously founded Platfora, later acquired by Workday.

Who it's for

  • You want to hand coding agents larger, more consequential scopes — not just generate more code.
  • You have active work where judgment carries consequences: customer commitments, latency budgets, security boundaries, architectural dependencies.
  • A long-lived codebase where the same calls keep getting re-decided.
  • An executive sponsor and a technical champion willing to run the program on real work, not a sandbox.

What happens over eight weeks

  1. 01

    Baseline Intent Audit

We agree the success measures, then score recent agent-shipped work: senior attention, repeated calls, delegated scope, and where local choices became precedent without an explicit decision.

  2. 02

    Codebase characterization

Point Igni at the product area. The first working session ends with your initial graph on screen — and your team curating what should guide the work.

  3. 03

    Connect your coding agents

Your coding agents stay in their own tools. Igni connects the workflows you put in scope and supplies the decisions and constraints that apply to each piece of work.

  4. 04

    Live use on active work

Agents make implementation calls. When the work makes a standing decision questionable, the choice stays explicit while work continues. The owned resolution reaches affected work.

  5. 05

    Measurement

Senior attention per unit of delegated production work, repeated-call rate, maximum delegated scope, and the share of senior time spent on genuinely novel judgment — against your own baseline.

  6. 06

    Executive readout

What moved, what held, and a rollout recommendation. The program ends with a decision, not a renewal by inertia.

What success looks like

By week eight, success means your team can hand agents more consequential work without adding proportional senior attention. Agents start from calls your team has already made. The same questions stop returning as fresh escalations. Senior engineers spend less time watching runs and reviewing routine work — and more time shaping genuinely novel calls. The measurement shows whether that shift is real.

Investment and terms

One fixed, prepaid fee covers one product area for eight weeks. If you continue under an annual agreement, the full fee is credited. We confirm the number and scope on the first call. Apply below, or start with the Intent Audit.

Included

You receive a scored baseline, an initial graph from codebase characterization, connected in-scope workflows, the weekly founder session, measurement against the baseline, and an executive readout.

Your commitment

An executive sponsor, a technical champion, one live product area, and the weekly session. Success measures are agreed before the program starts — two or three, not twenty.

How it's judged

Against the measures you agreed to and your own week-one baseline: senior attention per unit of delegated work, repeated-call rate, maximum delegated scope, and where senior time goes.

At the end

The evidence supports one of three decisions: stop, continue in the scoped area, or expand to another product area. The executive readout makes a recommendation and shows the evidence behind it.

How Igni handles your code

Igni does not clone or host your repository. Code-side analysis runs in your environment and may send selected context to the model provider configured there.

Igni's service stores the intent graph, conversations, operational metadata, and reviewable evidence. Evidence can include short excerpts when they support a finding.

Before any access is granted, we review and agree the complete boundary — including providers, permissions, retention, and what is stored. The full data-handling note is available on request. The Intent Audit runs on your screen: no repo access, no file upload.

Apply for the Charter Program

Charter deployments run on real production-bound work. We qualify the product area, data boundary, and working team in both directions. If a note brought you here, reply to it instead.
